Alia Shawkat, born April 18, 1989 in Riverside California (United States) is among the television's most popular and successful actresses. She played Maeby Funke in the Fox show Arrested Development a role that earned her a TV Land Future Classic Award. Ellen Page was her co-star in Whip It. Shawkat was Hannah in State of Grace, from 2001 until 2004. The character was played by Maeby Funke. a main cast member in Arrested Development. She played this role from the beginning of the show until the final episode. Shawkat received praise for her appearances in the show. Brian M.
