Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a mixed-race family from South London in England. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mom is English. She grew on an estate in South London community estate, and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. During her time at the academy, she appeared in several performances on stage, such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her debut motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that success her role was Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also played the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her debut in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series aired on The CW for only two episodes before being ended. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she appeared as a guest in the very first episode of season 3. From 2014 to 2016, she starred in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball fields because the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball and both in the summer and winter. Ashley could never walk but she was able to dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley was addicted to dance since that time. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated from high school. Top soloists at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
