Coleman was a Lancashire resident born in Blackpool. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. In her time as headgirl, she scored straight A grades for her A Levels. Coleman regrets not having receive a standard university education when discussing her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was at High School, was part of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The performance received praise by the audience, and the show received favorable reviews. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman landed the part in the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two Awards. In the British Soap Awards she was nominated as Best Newcomer and during the National Television Awards she was nominated as Most Popular Newcomer. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was awarded an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference in 2012 that Coleman will be Matt Smith's character after Karen Gillan left. Moffat selected her for the part because she was the most effective in her interactions with Smith and could speak more rapidly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the business since 1987, and has been part of various TV shows and films. She has been much prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva is best known for her role as Doctor. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is not only an actress, she is as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. The actress has three marriages and has a daughter along with her husband.
