Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as among the best athletes. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under the guidance of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, and a bronze medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of competition. In less than two years, she was the top athlete in her field. What stood Biles out was her consistency her flamboyant attitude as well as the level of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
